At May this year a Thunderdome event took place in Amsterdam with as theme “Fight Night”. Heavyweights like Evil Activities, Unexist, Day-Már, Endymion, Vince, Nosferatu and Tommyknocker stepped in the ring and banged it out. For every event there needs to be a theme anthem and this time they have chosen for not one but two artists to mark the Thunderdome feeling. In follow up on the success EP of Endymion vs Nosferatu “Act of God” Thunderdome has found new real heavyweights to make the anthems. For the first part they asked Unexist and Day-Már to make a tune. This release named K.O. ended in some raw beats, with distorted synths, a drum and bass part and massive hardcore kicks a real banger in the ring to end with. For the 2nd tune they asked underground artist The Immobilizers, what is a collaboration between The Outside Agency and Mindustries. You can hear that this track is more laydown as the K.O. release. “Life and Death” from The Immobilizers has a raw kick with distorted synths and creepy atmosphere breaks! This hardcore banger is one to start with.
